“Shapes of Our Times” is an online calendar and archive created by artist Hayal Pozanti.
Each day at 7pm Eastern Standard Time, Pozanti captures and displays the trending Twitter hashtag. She also culls the most popular image and creates a unique shape representing the date from her “Instant Paradise” lexicon.
“Shapes of Our Times” is an instant logo generator for the zeitgeist as well as a cultural history archive. Visitors are now able to see the first week and will be able to access the archive as time goes by.
You can also follow the project @ShapesOfOurTimes on Instagram and @OurShapes on Twitter.
